 Brasov is one of Romania's most beautiful cities, situated in the heart of the country and surrounded by the magnificent Carpathian Mountains.

The ancient Old Town, with Gothic church spires and age-old watchtowers looming above its cobblestone streets, is the highlight of any visit. There are several small and quiet cafes, atmospheric taverns, and traditional eateries within the walled city that perfectly fit Brasov's laid-back vibe.

Aside from that, there are other beautiful hiking paths that wind their way from the city through the majestic mountains and stunning scenery all surrounding it. Brasov is well worth a visit if you have the opportunity, with spectacular Transylvanian castles and ski resorts nearby.
