Kuala Terengganu, on Malaysia's east coast, is a little-known destination. It's conservative in character, like much of the eastern coast, but it's also intriguing, with an eclectic blend of Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences. The city's most well-known attraction is the Crystal Mosque, a beautiful edifice made of glass, steel, and crystal that is a sight to behold.
