Breakfast Challenge Tik Tok

Ok it's not tik tok or other fancy shorts of youtube, i just wanted to share on how i make my basic breakfast the effort taken...

Just get your self 2 bread and toast it like a pro using toaster...

Spread them on with butter and peanut butter. In this case i use Ladies Choice for peanut butter.

Making coffee well my favourite is Nescafe , i can say Malaysian Heritage beverage similar to Milo and others. 

Sorry my bad in displacing the right picture at the right text but that's what it is , when i'm sharing the content of the actual scneario. 

 

Absolute Thai Menu

 

If you ask me the most decent place to have Thai food in Kuala Lumpur would be the Absolute Thai, I've been going here for the past several years without fail their food are excellent. Recently with technology advancement they have changed their odering method through online by scanning a bar code and then you pick you item from the menu. 

Although through the years i spend my time and would always order Tomyam Meehon seafood clear soup with extra spicy and with desert like Mango rice and coconut water chesnut for the desert i can't really remember the name as i will just point it out.

The most common place i would go is in Midvalley and ofcourse during the earlier days Absolute Thai existed in Bangsar Village and due to the pandemic they had to close down. 

I took the vibrant surrouding looks like you can enjoy kind of a fine dining but neverthelese never under estimate the quality of services. 

The Paad thai was nice tooo... you should try they stir fry and also other vegetable as well 

Well the best said about these place as for the price i would say its a value for money and i never got food poisoning ever from this place or neither feel bloated after eating which means they really have quality control in food preparation. 

Smiggles School Supplies

If you are loaded then go to smiggles because every single item is MONEY. 

But the real reason why i buy at smiggles is due to it's perfection presentation of the products. It motivates the school kids by giving hope with the gadget like products. 

The school bag are roughly expensive and can touch RM200 to 300 but the best part i can't find similar market player with similar setup in Malaysia, Although places like Aeon jusco, Metrojaya sells school items but they are not comparable.

Maybe different seller got different branding and catering various customer preference. 

But let's think these if it's value for money, worthy and a good spend or should you put the money into young ones saving box.

 

Adidas sportswear Midvalley

     The best part all products of Adidas last for years similar feeling with other famous brands that's why when it's getting expensive people still buy it. 

I went to Midvalley to get myself a sports shoe more of a cross trainer segment. Suprisingly after so long never been to the mall since the pandemic especially the sports section. 

To my suprise the adidas shoes was at the next level in terms of the pricing. The shoe cost roughly around RM1095. Yes you heard it right. 

The last time back in year 2015 when i bought my cross trainer sports shoe it cost me around RM300++ can't really remember and it lasted ever since till it broke.

The irony maybe shoe price sky rocketed after the pandemic goes post endemic, not sure if it will remain the same. For me just like when petrol price goes up chicken rice price also goes up but some month later when petrol price comes down, Chicken rice price will stay there. 

but I'm thinking the quality are not that bad with new technology, honestly i just buy for the brand name. They won't let you down. Spend a little money and you will feel the pride with Adidas. 

Racoon or Musang Trap DIY

 

Every now and then this Racoon or musang keeps coming to my balcony and starts destroying the surrounding by messing things up. I was thinking an idea to make a trap for this animal like you see in this video similar to deep sea crab catching cage.  I used the similar method where once the animal goes in it could never kick the door out. 

The entire mesh sheet i bought at the nearby hardware shop and it does not cause that much roughly about RM36. It's worth to make such trap and even trap water monitors that normally roams behind your house. 

I hope i can catch this Racoon and let's see if i ever catch it, i will post it in this blog. 

Kerala Dosa with Omlette

Do you if you ever visit Kerala in India - you should never miss trying their Dosa variety. I personally like to try their plain Dosa with omlette as side dish finishing with some coconut chutney.

But I decided to take the recipe back home and tried to do the same at home and it was successful. As for dosa its not difficult to make in Chennai and same goes to omlette, but the idea of not having omlette in dosa but as a side dish makes the huge difference. 

The key for dosa in kerala are because of the chutney as Kerala rich with coconut and chutney over made over there is one of its own kind and the taste is totally diffierent. The authencity of Chutney is key for this plain dosa.

 

Santan Cafe in Midvalley

One of my favourite places to eat whenever i go to midvalley is Santan Cafe. The food choice is your as the serving per meal is irresistable. As for the price it's standard. 

This reminds me of a Santan related in when i was onboarding Air Asia for my trip to Phuket, Thailand from KLIA2.

The Santan Cafe that i was referring to was at The Gardens Midvalley.

Focus Point - Midvalley

Whenever i want to buy contact lenses, i would choose Focus Point and most of the time they don't let me down by saying "Out of Stock" .

In the past I have bought sun glasses it last very long at the same time i also ordered specticals with lots of choices of frames with reasonable prices. 

They have many choices of sun glasses that you might not want to miss. Most of my friends recommend this place because of the since the variety of options and with choice of your budget can be obtained.

Some of my friends and even myself have bought some casual wears as a birthday presents to my friends and family member. 

I would anytime recommend this Focus Point as they have many branch as you can never miss any of these places in your area where there's a shopping complex regardless of its size. 

 

Clinique products are always the best

Malaysian fall for this brand most of the time infact many of my colleagues go for this product. It's because of the quality and branding that been trusted for many years. 

Clinique image are very well known in amongst office workers especially ladies in the corporate world. 

I basically endevour their skin care product which outclass most of the other products that i have tried, that's because it maybe suitable for my skin. 

One key factor that this products feels quite natural and that could be one of the key selling point. 

As for their customer service are very good as well and they maintain historical data of their previous customer and acknowledge their return customers. 

The present of moment are very well popular.

Starbucks again and again

 

It's been a habit of mine to always to go for Starbucks the moment i noticed anywhere in the shopping complexes. 

Their promotion always kills and to my taste. for instance the latest promotions is about buying 2 Starbucks signature cakes and you get a free bottle of fresh juice. The juice is premium in fact and you should try it out. 

You can check out how the premium juice bottle above looks like. At the same time their bites category feels like as if you are in overseas. 

I think thats why their moto for now Dream Big, Bloom Beyong! sounds asian but it feels always international to my opinion.

Cockatail on the house - A Parrot family

 

Cockatail eats sunflower seeds , millets and they love to wistle like a champ and nice to hear as if you only hear these sounds in the movies where the shooting are done in the jungle. Likewise you can create a situation such for your own self.

Enjoy the moments....

Its easy and not easy to have cockatail , they bite on you if you are not friendly.

So far i got 2 and let it goes as it's a pair of male and female, specifically bought for breeding later on.

Cockatail is kind of a mid range of parrot family where before them are parakeet and after them are parrot thefore i would classify them as mid range amongst their family class.

It's all about Budgies cage and nesting pot

It's enjoyable to see how budgies react to the new cage is bit bigger...

As you can see i place the nest box outside of the cage with a little modification therefore i will have more space for the birds budgies..

I have greared up the nesting pots all 4 corners and let's see months to come the budgies start to breed.

Some play toys added as well.. let see how this fits in for them...

Althogh the cage is a bit bigger but my timing are bad to picture as they were not staying put at one location
