Traders Hotel buffet dinner Kuala Lumpur

After so long craving for a buffet dinner, finally i decided to go Traders Hotel, in my own personnal opinion after going through many buffet lunch or dinner in my life throught out Malaysia, I would rate this place 5/10 ( 1 is bad - 10 is good) but there are other good things as well about Traders Hotel in general, don't just judge by reading my blog..

Let me show you around...

First i had to a search  parking, it was very convinient as Traders hotel specifically alloted parking space for their guess but nontheless it was not enough, you will only get it if you are lucky.. but not bad as well to park a bit further because all the building  connected.

Let's jump in directly to the food, the moment  reached there i gathered all the seafood that i wanted for me and my family since  a seafood buffet. They cooked, steamed and boiled these items for us.. on the spot.

Other than seafood, they also have mee hoon goreng, nasi goreng, sushi, grilled items plus many more... just grab what you need.

The below plate is about Satay ... i took quite a few and finish them all, being Malaysian and enjoying Malaysian Staple food where ever i go and never to be missed.

Cherry tomato .. pick them just to compensate on vegetables....

Mee goreng was avaialbe as well , i got overwhelmed and end up mixing papaya as a sides...

This as the look of the food counters and sea food selection..

At the entrance you can see the small bottle of jars it like a home made jam by Traders Hotel... I think.. no sure...

The rule about buffee, nothing to be eaten in a sequence... therefore i stopped for  tea....

Nicely decorated shell counters if you like them pick them in a bowl and the chef will cook for you...

Another counter of shell items...

Here they had crabs and prawn lined up for you to pick...

Oyster anyone... you can get them.. I'm not a fan of it..

Some  the items e pre grilled on a small latter with variety of combination... but the grill does not sound rite as when the platter comes out from the kitchen its cold and not hot... this is a bit of a drawback...

Their other desert counter were superb... no comments

Few rounds of eating and went back for Satay and that's all i can think off...

OK --- the clamps, prawns, crab, shell, i notice once you hand pick and give it to the chef,,, they have  boiling pot not sure if its plain stock or just boiling water... what they do, they just dump all these items separately into the boiling water to be cooked and then take it and put the desired sause on top of it... my expectation was different.

For me seafood if you go to seafood restaurent... you will know what i mean, i dont just expect boiling them and giving to me..
where is  stir fried sea good, you have crab where is the black pepper crab etc etc.. where's the butter prawn.... I mean Malaysian love these type rather than boiled with flavour.

Then again this  my personal opinion only but overall i love it of what Traders hotel was serving that day.. my comments are just minor ones...

The best.....

These hotel atleas serve crab and it as not that bad... of course we have to understand that not all restaurent can cook what you need.. if 100 people attending buffet sure 50% will have varying requirement like me being one of them in that list...

More to come... nice nice nice ... i mean where you can get these type of food..... delicious....

It's like a highway whack along the way....

Final touch ice cream for me customized with choco rice and peanut to perfection... there's always no limit so i enjoyed....
