Planting Tomato, Cara Tanam Tomato

Do you know planting tomato normally are done on an organic soil or other type of soil and normally its good to plant during early summer. But what I'm about to show you is that planting tomato on vertical tower using cocopeat media.

I started seeding process on a very basic way which is taking the seeds from the kitchen where i found a ripe tomato, after that i cut them into slices and just place it onto a peatmoss soil for about 1-2 weeks, after which the seeds started to sprout and i waited till it grew somewhere around 2-4 inches before moving them into the cocopeat tower.

    

As you can see from this video how drastically it plant grew longer and greater. As for the fertilizer i hopped into using my existing AB fertilizer that i use for my chili plants, I knew tomato have different requirements but i used anyway the Chili fertilizer which was already set up and i just had to bring the fertigation extension towards this tomator tower.

I'm not recommending but the fertilizers that i use are from a very famous brand called Yara Tera 

The product in combination i use for my fertigation are as follow:- (  I have a video on how to mix this products together - buying component level and preparing them is very cost effective and you will have the confidence that no thirdparty reducing certain portion during the preparation)

In Fertilizer A or Tank A contains

Yara Terra Calcinit only

In Fertilizer B or Tank B contains

Yara Tera 12+12+36+micro

Yara Tera MGS

Yara Tera Rexolin ABC

Literally for tomato Yara corporation recommends this combination below

Tank A

Yara Tera Calcinit only

Tank B

Yara Tera Tomato only

But for somereason i use the earlier combination.

Haphazard - well tomato plants also have its turmoil issues such as pest control are totally required. In this case a very common issue was whitefly ( lalat putih) in malay. This white fly normally exist in most of the fruits and vegetable plants ( there's videos on how to prevent them in my channel) 

As for the insect repellent - I used quite a number in variation with alternate weeks such as the following ( but i have video in my youtube channel covering that particular topic comprehensively)

Every 5 days - I will use Organic insect repellent - Prosoft Bioner

Every 4 days - I will use Ezigrow + Leili Softguard

Every 7 days - I will use Malathion 57 combining with sulcron a small drop and Neem oil 

The above are the calendar for insect repellent and taking care health of the tomato plants.

Obviously planting tomato was just another experiment that i had in mine doing it on a vertical tower and it worked like a charm. There's no limitation for executing any experiment for personal satisfaction.
