Iphone14 Measuring App

The iPhone has a built-in app called "Measure" that utilizes augmented reality (AR) technology to measure objects and distances. Here's how you can use the Measure app:

Open the Measure app: Locate the Measure app on your iPhone. It typically comes pre-installed, but if you can't find it, you can search for it in the App Store and download it.

Calibrate the app: When you open the Measure app for the first time, it may prompt you to move your iPhone around to calibrate the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration process.

Measure an object or distance: To measure an object or distance, aim your iPhone's camera at the starting point of the measurement. You may need to move closer or farther away to get the object or area within the camera frame.

Place the starting point: Tap on the screen to place a point at the starting position of the measurement. You can drag the point to adjust its placement if needed.

Move to the endpoint: With the starting point set, move your iPhone to the endpoint of the measurement. You'll see a line or dots indicating the measured distance as you move.

View the measurement: Once you reach the endpoint, the Measure app will display the measured distance on the screen. You can also swipe up from the bottom to access additional measurement tools like angles and levels.

Take a screenshot or save the measurement: If you want to capture the measurement for future reference, you can take a screenshot by pressing the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Up button simultaneously. The screenshot will be saved in your Photos app.

It's worth noting that the accuracy of the Measure app may vary depending on factors like lighting conditions, camera stability, and the object being measured. For more precise measurements, it's recommended to use dedicated measuring tools or professional equipment.
