Warsaw Things to do

Warsaw, which was destroyed to the ruins during WWII, has made a remarkable comeback in recent decades. It is presently one of the largest and most vibrant metropolises in the EU.

The city, which lies on the banks of the Vistula River, spans a large area, with many lovely green parks scattered among its grey communist-era blocks. Its beautiful Old Town, which was meticulously restored after being destroyed, is particularly noteworthy. In addition, the spectacular panoramas from the top of the majestic Palace of Culture and Science are also worth seeing.

Apart from its inexpensive and cheery milk bars, which date back to the Communist era, Warsaw is also home to a growing number of elegant vodka bars and stylish nightclubs.
