Get a coke or pepsi bottle and make sure to wash of the gas and pat dry it in the hot sun. 

After which make a small hole size of your thumb at the bottom of the bottle facing you.

Then fill up the fillets all done now....

Budgies millets DIY container

Doing DIY bottle container for Budgies to serve millets. I have shown below how it looks like and possibly you can buy the components bottle from cake or bakery shop and hardly cost you much. 

This ensures that bird poop or dropping does not go into the food container. 

End result looks like this and it will slowly and gradully finish ..

Just get a plastic bottle like this...

This container for 12 birds that i have will take atleast more than 3 weeks or more to finish at this moment it's already 2 weeks and i still see quarter container left.

This is the top cover on top picture you can see that make  sures bird dropping does not drop in...

You can either hot glue it at the center or side of the tray either way works for me....

Budgies Mini and big Aviary

Sometimes I always wanted a big cage or aviary like this but there are restriction at home such as space and possible noice that would resemble from the birds likewise it's hard to catch them as well. 

Looks at the mini aviary for budgies that i have created and added bunch of nest box and coconut shell for them to breed. 

 

Andhra masala dosa with sambar and chutney

 

Don't laugh - just go to any Indian restaurent whom are serving Dosa and Idly and they would be able to prepare this for you. I personally will get it from Chat Masala in Brickfields or from other restaurents like Saravana bhawan or Anandha bhawan and in these restaurents the name sound different but the product are the same hahha...

Pasar Harian, Wet Market chicken fed with corn and soya

Do we know that the chicken that we buy from any wet market in our neighbourhood on how it's being breed like for example the food given to these chicken. As far as i know farmers are feeding corn for carbohydrate and soya for protein. 

But do we really know its being fed like that on vegetables left over and palletes. 

But anyway i have no complain about the fresh chicken that i buy at the same time do not know how to differenciate these chickens given soya and corn as food.

It's for you  to find out and for me to know. 

 

Chettinad Banglore Chicken varuval

To grind Ginger No. 1 12 inch long piece 

10 small onions 

10 pods garlic 

2 green chilies 

1 table spoon chilli powder 

2 table spoons coriander powder

5 table spoons grated coconut 

Cashew nut #5 (also known as kasa kasa) 

-2 teaspoons of salt 

1 teaspoon fennel seeds 

seasoning 

2 pieces cinnamon 

1 teaspoon fennel seeds 

2 teaspoons cloves 

2 teaspoons cardamom 

2 birinji leaves 

curry leaves 

mint leafs for taste

In Chettinad chicken, the chicken is traditionally not marinated before cooking. Because they used to cook on a low heat for a long time in the past days, the chicken will have a salty and spicy flavour once cooked. The chicken we use these days is tender and cooks quickly on a gas stove. As a result, I believe that marinating the chicken for an hour before cooking is preferable. No worries if you don't have time to marinade.

1 teaspoon kuzhambu milagai thool to marinate (the powder used for sambar)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste (curd)

Method

Onion, garlic, and tomatoes should all be minced.

Place the kadai on top of the stove. In 2 teaspoons of oil, season the curry with the things listed under "to season."

Add the onions and cook for 3 minutes with a touch of salt.

When the onions are translucent, add the garlic and cook for a few minutes.

Toss in the tomatoes, chopped. Sauté until everything is mixed up.

Add the ground paste of the No. 1 ingredients. Cook it for a while in a skillet.

Now toss in the chicken pieces and thoroughly coat them in the masala.

A lot of water is dripping off the chicken. Reduce the heat to a low setting and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.

Increase the heat when the chicken pieces are almost done cooking so that the gravy thickens.

When the curry has thickened, add the masala that has been ground with the components listed in No 2 and stir well.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

If the curry needs to be a little watery, add the masala a little sooner and turn off when the stew has reached the necessary consistency.

Sejak kebelakangan ini, sering kita namapak biawak di merata tempat persekitaran kawasan perumahan kita. 

Takut pula tu macam kita rasa berada di hutan. Di belakang rumah saya sentiasa ada biawak, burung, tikut, tupai dan pelbagai

Jom kita tenguk macam mana binating ini semua di pelawa, adakah ini semua semulajadi atau angakara manusia.

1. Pembuangan makanan sering dibuang dibelakang rumah atas jalan dari dibuang dalam tong sampah.

2. kebersihan tidak dijaga dengan sempurna di sekeliling halaman rumah.

3. Lonkang tidak bersih bah kan nyamuk aedes boleh membiak jika air bertakung ini juga keadaan yang di sukai oleh binating liar. 

4. Pokok yang terbiar dan tidak teratur boleh mempelawa biawak, tikus tupai.

Apa yang kita boleh buat untuk menhalau binating tersebut.

1. Pertama sekali sentiasa pantau dan bersihkan halaman rumah.

2. Buang sisa makanan dalam tong sampah.

3. Pokok dan rumpai yang tidak berguna harus dipotong dengan sempurna.

4. Beli ubat tikus jika perlu dikedai hardware berdekatan.

5. Beli ubat naymuk aedes di kedai hardware berdekatan juga dan taburkan di dalam longkang bertakung air.

6. Jika Longkang besar tolong report kepada majlis perbandaran yang terdekat.

7. Shoppe and lazada ada juga menjual racun biawak, saya tidak pernah pakai tapi jika perlu mungkin saya akan pakai. 

So -- kebersihan di sekiling rumah penting untuk memastikan bianting liar tidak membiak. 

Saya ada juga membuat trap sangkar untuk biawak tapi takut juga bila tangkap apa nak buat dengan binating tersebut.

Banglore trip for Dosa - Thosai

During weekend i decided to drive to Banglore for a road trip and has to passthrough toll gates -- Chennai to Banglore. 

I manage to take video while driving a short clips and it's dangereous and don't try this as i use tripod stick in the car and was not holding the phone. 

However due to the bumpy roads the phone was shaking ....

Toll gates can you imagine few hours drive just for Dosa

While putting up in Banglore i decided to go for my favourite Panner Dosa masala with Vadai together with chutney combination.

After which in the evening i decided to go for Briyani all time favourite and famous in banglore as the rice used is totally different compared to other states. 

But can't beat they way i do at home..

The next day it's time to leave the house and i went for light breakfast soaked Vadai in sambar and thosai / dosa as well...

ok just to show how good was my trip to banglore and next time i will for sure take some snaps like the front of the shop just in case if you also planning to go these places .

But generally dosa, idly and all states in india are the best.... you will never regret eating it.
